Balby Carr Students Visit Paralympics World Cup Friday 28th May 2010   Balby Carr students travelled to the BT Paralympic World Cup at Manchester’s Sport City to support TEAM GB in the World Athletics Competition. The event featured Paralympics athletes from GB, Europe and the Rest of the world.   THE EVENTS The athletes who all had physical disabilities completed in both Track and Field events. The students cheered on all the athletes who were competing in order to be selected for the London 2012 Paralympics so the standard was extremely high in all events.   FACE PAINTING CRAZYNESS!!! Students got into the full spirit of the event with their Giant hands and getting their faces painted. Even Mr Dye joined in with the face painting!!!       The students showed tremendous support throughout the whole day for all the athletes.
