1 Goal Send my friend to school 2010 campaign Tuesday 13th July 2010    During the World Cup this year students in the Additional Learning Needs support centre at Balby Carr Community Sports and Science College got together with staff to present assemblies to each year group in the school as part of the 1 Goal - education for all campaign. This was to show how important it is to give every child in the world an education in order for them to be able to take the next step to change their lives and eliminate poverty in the world.   They then got together and collected a grand total of 877 signatures throughout the World Cup on a scarf over 16 metres long.   The scarf will be sent to the Prime Minister to show support for the Global Education Campaign and to make sure he remembers the promise made that every child should get an education by 2015.   Mrs Richardson Senior Learning Support Assistant
